Adjoa Sankofia Tetteh, MA, CLC (she/her) has over 20 years of experience working at the intersection of education, capacity building, advocacy, and research to advance sexual and reproductive health, rights, and justice. Her work has spanned local to global levels, taking her from community health centers in the Mississippi Delta to the streets of Mumbai, India. As a trainer, project leader, educator, and advocate, she has collaborated with Planned Parenthood of Greater NY Action Fund, NY Coalition for Reproductive Justice, Sierra Club, Community Healthcare Network, Physicians for Reproductive Health, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

Adjoa is passionate about creating a world where health professionals and care systems are guided by humility, self-determination, and a re-envisioning of power that rightfully centers the people they serve. She currently works at JSI as a Senior Technical Associate, providing training and technical assistance to national and statewide (NY, MA) Title X-funded networks on delivering quality, person-centered, and evidence-based sexual/reproductive healthcare. She also co-leads Strengthening the Family Planning Program (SFPP), a first-of-its-kind community of practice for family planning leaders across New York. Previously at CAI (fka Cicatelli Associates Incorporated), she directed national and statewide projects on strengthening health systems, advancing quality improvement, and supporting healthcare and social service professionals to implement principles of reproductive equity and justice within clinical care, institutional practice, and community engagement. 

Adjoa co-chairs the Board of Directors for the New York Abortion Access Fund and previously served on the Board of Planned Parenthood of Greater NY and the Advisory Council for the Third Wave Fund. She holds an MA in Sexual/Reproductive Health Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and an AB with Honors in Human Development from the University of Chicago. She has been a Certified Lactation Counselor since 2014.
